Worst hospital experience i ever had. I was left hours on a trolley in a corridor after they fixed hip dislocated. Nurses are awful- no professional. I was told pee in the corridor or i could request a cather!!! The health care assists helped me after hours by having to push trolly to private room. I saw alot of young nurses ignoring people with mobility issues . Ambulance staff and emergency staff who popped hip in were fantastic. Where are the professional nurses???!!! No beds and people teeated like animals. Keep away from here
How about you arrive at A&E with a 18 month old baby, crying with a bump in his head and after 5 hours waiting, when checking with nurses about how much more we should wait, they tell you another 2 hours? Why do we pay taxes in this country? Bear in mind we were going to pay the 100 euro fee as well.It should deserve zero star, unfortunately Google does not allow it.
Worst yet waiting 12 hours to be seen with broken ankle. Wouldn't even get paracetamol to help with pain.
Our daughter had difficulty breathing and took her to the pediatric emergency department. Despite being Scottish and on holiday we were checked in quickly and seen within 10 minutes. We were taken from triage directly into the ward and given a private room where we received excellent care from our doctor and nurses. Everyone was extremely friendly, helpful and provided us with excellent care, I really couldn't fault it. We left a few hours later with our daughter feeling much better. Can't thank the team enough.
Absolutely advise anyone not to go to this hospital for anything as not one of them working there know what they are doing. Would give a 0 if there was a 0 staff very rude when you ask them something or to do something and they will say we will be back in 10 mins and there no where to be seen till days later.I would advis anyone to go to tullamore or portlaoise before going to limerick there is loads more i could say abut it but it would be too long to type absolutlelu disgrace this place
